Gene Olexa - CFO and Managing Director

Gene, a CPA, majored in Accounting as an undergraduate before obtaining his MBA from the University of Maryland. Gene has held senior financial management positions since 1973 working for companies whose revenues have ranged from $5 million to $900 million. He has directly managed staff sizes ranging from 5 to 200. Company experience includes public, private, profit and nonprofit such as SatoTravel, Hazleton Laboratories, Special Olympics International, Inc., Pacific International Equities, National Corporation for Housing Partnerships, Environmental Industry Associations, and Laventhol & Horwath, CPA’s.

Gene has implemented a wide range of information systems beginning with the requirements analysis phase through design, selection and systems implementation phases. Previous experience includes work in the field of electronics technology for companies such as AT&T Long Lines, ITT/Electro Physics Laboratories, WETA Public Television and the U.S. Navy. Gene has also successfully completed the NASD/NYSE series 7 and series 66 registered securities representative examinations.
